The Moldova State University (Institute of Chemistry and Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology), in partnership with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, is organizing on May 29, 2026, the National Conference with International Participation “Advanced Materials in Biopharmaceutics and Engineering”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished chemist, Academician Aurelian Gulea, as well as to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Moldova State University .

- Synthesis and characterization of functional materials
- Complex compounds with polyfunctional ligands
- Applications of new materials in medicine, biology, and technics
- Modern aspects of coordination and supramolecular chemistry
Researchers, academic staff, PhD students, master’s students, and specialists in the fields of chemistry, biopharmaceutics, and engineering from both the Moldova State University and other national and international institutions are invited to participate in the event.
The papers presented at the Conference will be published in a collection of scientific articles dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Academician Aurelian Gulea.
